Not as Rainy as Yesterday…..

So it looks like summer is over, we haven’t quite got the bite of winter in our midst but I get the feeling that it wont be long!! It’s been exciting looking over the new Autumn/Winter ranges of wool and deciding which ones to choose for the shop. Its times like these I wish I had a bit more space, but I like being small in some respects , independent shops provide a much more personal experience when shopping, customer satisfaction is paramount and you cant beat good old fashioned service. Look at Jack’s hardware store in the village, where would we be without his amazing shop and his attention to customer satisfaction?

We are lucky here in Rothbury, we still have a decent high street and lots of interesting shops. We also have a lovely art gallery and are surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. Despite yesterdays downpour, people are out and about, it takes more than the Great British Summer to dampen our spirits. Well, its nearly opening time, I’m going to grab a quick coffee before opening the doors. Hope to see you soon.
