Knitting Time…

It has been the best part of a month since i have managed to sit down and get on with the website, busy in the shop and trying to find some new and interesting yarns and patterns has consumed most of my days. Now we find ourselves just passing the Autumn Equinox and don’t you feel it? The chill is definitely in the air and we find ourselves putting the heating on and looking to our hobbies to fill our evenings.

We are all living under some restriction right now and it can feel frustrating not to be able to live our lives the way we would like, but we can take a more positive view of finding ourselves at home to develop our creative side, whether that is learning a musical instrument, improving our cooking skills or stab felting a Christmas Pudding! We have lots of ideas here at Rainbow Yarns and are always happy to help you find your way round a new challenge. Take the opportunity of working from home to enjoy your surroundings, take a step back and think about how you spend your time and what else you might like to do with it. It doesn’t have to be the mad rat race all the time and you never know, you might find something that makes you change your direction in life. The Chinese have a saying: ‘If you find a job you like, you never have to work a day again in your life.’ Its worth thinking about……..
